TDS on Property from NRI (Non Resident Indian) 195

 Tds on sale of Property sale by Non Resident is not same as tds @1% on sale of property by Resident Above 50lakh.

Tds if seller NRI is 12.5% with surcharge and cess.

Amount of property even if less than 50 lakh tds is deducted.

This rate on sale value not on profit proportion until unless Lower tds ltdc certificate is granted by AO.
